Emo Hairstyles for Girls

How to make emo Haircut?

Making Your Hairstyle Happen

If you or a friend are doing your hair, practice several times before Homecoming to see how long it will take and to ensure you have all the right supplies and equipment to make it work.

If you're going to a salon, here are some tips for once you're in the stylist's seat!
1. Make your appointment several weeks in advance
2. It's best to schedule an early afternoon appointment. This will leave plenty of time for make-up and getting dressed.
3. If you have a style in mind, arrive at the salon with a picture to show the stylist. Choose a photo of someone with a similar hair color, texture, and length.
4. Arrive in plenty of time for your appointment with clean, but not freshly washed hair, which is harder to style.
5. Wear a top or shirt that buttons or zips down the front so that you don't ruin your hairstyle.
6. If you plan on using hair accessories, bring them for your stylist to incorporate into your up-do. Look for accessories that compliment your dress such as rhinestones, beads, crystals, feathers, flowers, ribbons, or bows.
7. Ask the stylist to apply plenty of hairspray to keep your Homecoming hairstyle in place throughout the evening.
8. If you're nervous about trying out a new style like an up-do, schedule a practice appointment with the stylist ahead.
